Live Blog Update| War on Iran 25 October 2026 04:50 GMT Iran’s Supreme Leader Mojtaba Khamenei has directed the judiciary to pursue compensation for "material and moral" damages caused by US-Israeli war, state news agency IRNA reported. Khamenei issued the directive during a meeting with judiciary chief Gholam Hossein Mohseni Ejei, calling for the authorities to pursue the Iranian nation’s rights. He also urged the judiciary to step up its fight against corruption, address its underlying causes and accelerate the handling of cases, with timely enforcement of rulings to serve as a deterrent.  Mojtaba Khameni also urged the judiciary to step up its fight against corruption. Iranian Revolutionary Guard Corps (IRGC) Spokesman Hossein Mohebbi has warned that the US-Israeli war against Iran could have consequences beyond the country’s borders, Press TV reported on Saturday. Mohebbi described the confrontation as an “apocalyptic war” and said Iran would achieve “absolute victory” and emerge as a global superpower. He urged Iranians to maintain national unity and rely on domestic capabilities, arguing that the conflict extended beyond the battlefield to encompass the country’s cultural, religious and civilisational identity. The IRGC spokesman accused the United States and Israel of seeking to weaken and fragment Iran by undermining its identity and replacing its culture with their own values.

Live Blog Update| War on Iran 24 October 2026 06:43 BST Iran has "substantially increased" its efforts to target Americans in the Middle East and beyond, US national intelligence chief Jay Clayton warned on Friday. In a memo sent to Secretary of State Marco Rubio, Clayton said that "we have received intelligence that Iran has substantially increased efforts to target US personnel," according to a US official. "The lethal plotting efforts by the Iranians against US citizens have reached advanced stages in both the Middle East and certain other countries," said the memo, which was first reported by Axios.
